"Wildflowers 2"

Actual Size: Approx. 13x35 inches

Imagine a field of wildflowers out of a Dr. Seuss book. I guess that's what I was thinking when I laid these fibers out. I was also experimenting with how different fibers types shrunk and the effects of layering.

This piece is wet felted and then hand embellished with embroidery and beads. Looped onto a wooden dowel with sari silk strips.
